Why do we miss the ball during a routine rally? The ball comes back the same as the one you just returned +/- and you just miss it using the same stroke you did before?

To me that is the most frustrating aspect of playing. You are doing everything right then you MISS the ball completely. Silas

Hi Silas,

Each ball may look the same but it can vary slightly in speed or position or spin.  The interesting part of this game is to deal with all of these variations.  That is why we need to hit a lot of balls and learn the differences.
