Hi Alois And Jeff.

I have a problem gluing my Xiom rubber with large pores. It is a Xiom Sigma Euro. If i remember right i think i read that you two use Xiom Vega Pro? I dont know if the Vega Pro has large pores but i was hoping one of you or others know whats best.

I use Butterfly free chack. And when i put glue on the rubber and the racket it doesnt seem to stick that good. So i think its because of the large pores. Since it doesnt stick very well i have to take it off again, glue it and then put it back on but then it sticks pretty well. So is it because of the large pores? or do i ned to put on glue two times to make it stick?

Hi Jayce,

Often with new rubbers of all types it may take two layers of glue to get it to stick.  The first layer often soaks into the sponge.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
