hard sponges

hi sirs,

what does it benefit you with hard sponges (which the chinese commonly use)?and also what sponge is that is color blue also the chinese uses?

Hi Judah,

The harder sponge helps you to play a more horizontal stroke on the ball.  This is usually accompanied by a grippy rubber.

The blue sponges on chines rubbers are usually quite hard.
