When i do the classic shakehand grip, it doesn't feel good that the index finger hangs over the blade. And when i so the longer shakehand grip i haven't much control. So does it work when i put the index finger (on the high grip) up as much as the index finger doesn't hang over the blade?

PS: the pingskills pingpod is very good!

Hi Lucas,

It is just a matter of comfort and feel for you.  I think it is better to start with to have your hand quite close into the racket so that you get more control over the racket head.  If it doesn't feel comfortable then lower your hand a bit.

I better play with the high grip. The longer grip feels like I can't generate much spin. Thanks for the answer!
