Strokes
When the ball touches the net and bounces at our side it bounces so low that we cant handle it or goes very high. Do you have any idea about It?
Hi Shashwat,
When the ball touches the net it behaves a little differently. One big thing to think about is that it will feel like it has more spin especially topspin than you think. If a topspin ball touches the net then cover the ball more.
If it bounces off low then move forward into it. You also need to adjust your timing because the ball will come through slower. The top players make it look so easy because they have had a lot of experience with it.
Chop blocks can be deceptive and frustrating — but with the right technique, you can take control.
In this newly updated version of our original video, we break down:
✔ How chop blocks differ from standard blocks
✔ Why timing is crucial when countering
✔ How to adjust your stroke to lift and loop effectively
