Hey Jeff/Alois, I recently decided to change the rubber of my pre assembled bat and so I removed the rubber and applied the blade seal. It has been almost 18 hours since I did that but when I tried putting the glue on and spreading it on the surface of the blade, the glue started to harden and fall off.. I do not know what to do. Have I somehow damaged my blade or do I have to wait longer? The seal is Revolution No.3 and the glue is Falco optimum

Hi Vishal,

I think the best thing to do is to use a little fine gritpaper and roughen up the surface a little.  The seal may be too hard and the glue can't stick to it properly.

I don't think players need to seal their blades now because we don't change the rubber very often.

Choosing a Table Tennis Bat

Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.
