I am always out of position in rallies in which my opponent suddenly hits to my backhand corner. This is not the case in my forehand corner. How can I improve my positioning and backhand play?

Hi Urbish,

I think you are probably more focused on the Forehand and so you may be slightly turned towards the forehand side as well.

In training see if you can do some more drills where the ball is coming to both sides and you need to adjust to the different positioning.  This will tend to get you in a more balanced stance and able to react to both sides equally as well.  Initially get your training partner to play more balls to your backhand side than your forehand so that you start to balance yourself up quicker.
