how to block sidespin serve

hi coach!

i have so much problem to block my opponent sidespin serve  (my friend has very powerful effect), . generally, when i return the ball is out of the table. what i have to do to block the sidespin serve?

Hi Raul,

The main thing is to use the angle of your bat to get it back.  Look where the ball goes when it hits your bat.  Now just adjust your abt so that the ball goes staright.  I always say it is like using a rudder.  Just turn it to angle the ball back to where you want it to go.
