Hi Pankaj,

Try watching our Backhand Chop and Forehand Chop lesson. Some of the main points are to start with the bat around head level, finish your stroke with your bat around knee level and play the stroke from slightly side on. The more topspin that is on the ball, the more flatter the angle your bat should be. If there is less topspin on the ball you can open up the angle of your bat some more.

You really need to practice this stroke quite a lot against topspin so you can feel comfortable using it in a game.

Good luck!

Sidespin Forehand Topspin

Curve the ball past your opponent with the sidespin forehand topspin. The sidespin not only causes the ball to curve but also makes it very difficult to return.
