hi coach,
can a rubber repair solution be used as a substitute to the, more commonly used, white, water-based, glue for gluing the rubber???

Hi AmirAli,
I would not recommend using a repair solution. I have never tried it myself but my advice is to stick with a reputable Table Tennis brand and use the normal Table Tennis glue. Only certain types of glue are legal under the ITTF rules so play it safe and use one that is.
