How to counterattack

How do you counter attack shots that are too low to smash and too fast to loop (usually has no spin, eg when the opponent blocks a sidespin serve) or at least return it without letting your opponent attack you? thnx

You need to topsin the ball wiht more lift than with a normal block.  So make you r topspin vertical and this will lift the ball over.  Because you don't have much time, you can't play a big stroke, just lift it almost vertically with a small stroke.
