On Sunday I had a competition with my team. In few of my matches I was against some very good players, so I played defensive and very short. But that is not my style, I am an offensive player. After I played some weak players and I could not play attack any more.

What would you recomend in these situations?

Hi Mario,

I think you may have made a breakthrough here.

You have seen the benefit of playing short.  You should persevere with this typwe of play but then also learn to convert from the short play to the topspin or attacking strokes.

Practice starting off each rally with a short serve and short return and then see if you can make the topspin attack.  Use the Topspin against backspin stroke here.

You will learn beeter to be able to switch form defense to attack by doing it more often.
