How do i defeat a aggressive player with a topspin?

Hi Varun,

The important thing is to keep them away from attacking.  To do this you need to develop your short play.  Keeping the ball low and close to the net.  Also think about which side they like to attack with and try to keep the ball as far away from that shot as possible.

If you keep the defender close to the table in the early part of the rally, it's hard for them to transition back into their chopping position. Plus, now and again try to start an attack yourself - it needn't be a strong attack, just become more active (they often don't like that)
