Strokes
Sir its easy for me to hit a ball on a low height but sometimes when the opponent does a chop and the height of the chop is high than its obvious to attack but every time when I attack that ball either it goes into net or outside the table help me how to hit that high ball and I want to be perfect in hitting that type of ball helppppp
Hi Krishna,
This is a ball that tricks a lot of people.
Make sure you are still brushing the ball even though it is so high. If you hit it flat the ball will be dragged into the net. By brushing up you will counter the backspin on the ball.
Now that you have the forehand topspin going well, it is time to get some more speed on it.

These balls can have crazy loads of spin and you have to brush very fast to compensate for it. I really struggled with them until I saw this video by Brett Clarke. Really.

Hi Krishna,
We have some videos on these topics. Firstly the forehand smash video is a good one to watch again just to make sure you are getting the basics right. Then look at the video response the question titled high ball.
And for our premium members we have two good videos on this:
High backspin close to the net
Smash/Topspin High Chopped Ball

I think we should hit as hard as possible the chop ball that come high and close to net and heavy brush high chopped balls which are away from net. Am I right Alois?
Abhinav. If the ball is really close to the net then you can hit it hard and flat as you have a good angle down onto the table. These are the ones that often give players problems though if they are not in position and hit the ball too far out in front of them.
Krishna. By watching the ball you will get a better sense of what type and how much spin is on the ball. This is a bit of a learning exercise.
