How to lob with backhand

Strategy

Hello Pingskills,

In the court where I train, there is only 2 meter's space around the table. I don't have time to react when lobbing, and only getting the smashes when I am lucky. Also, when the opponents smash to my backhand, I automatically try to use my forehand like a penholder even though I am a shakehander. How do I catch smashes that go long or to my backhand side?

Thanks as always,

John

Hi John,

Especially when you are dealing with a small space to work with you should take a look at the tutorial on I Can't Return That Smash!.  I thin it will get you to look at it differently.

You can also take a look at the tutorial on the Lob.
