Hi Alois,
I am Alex from Hong Kong. I have an inter-school competition 2 weeks ago and the match result was really bad. I played 3 games with a guy using pips, and didnt even win a single one. Why is that?
I noticed that when i serve with topspin, heavy backspin came back. Can the spin be reversed by pips rubbers? Pls help Alois, coach is really mad at me:(
Hi Alex,
The long pimples does reverse the spin on the ball. So if you play with topspin it will come back with backspin and vice versa.
The key is to get as much experience hitting against this type of rubber as you can. It is not surprising that you struggled against it the first time. Everyone does.
