Hi guys!

I'm looking for a instructional video on how to respond to topspin guys.

I use to respond by smashing with as much spin as I can, but mostly I get the ball to fly far beyond the table (back). What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for the help

Hector

Hi Hector,

You are probably trying to do too much.  A goo first response to their topspin is to make a Backhand Block or Forehand Block.

If you start with this and get consistent with it then you can start to think about getting a bit more aggressive with your response.

Eventually you may try to make the Topspin to Topspin stroke.
