How to return with chop

Hey Alois, this is Shrinath from India.

These days, my chops are returned by flat smashes. Being much closer to the table it is becoming too difficult.

What should i do?

How could i improve my chopping skill?

How could i move quickly back to receive a smash?

plz reply A.S.A.P

Hi Shrinath,

Try moving back more to chop.  You can also work on getting more backspin on the ball and keeping the ball lower so that they can't hit the ball too hard.
