Hurricane Rubber vs Rapid Soft

Hi coach...

I have a question regarding the rubber which I'm using now.

last night I have changed my rubber to RAPID SOFT. Before I used to play with Huricane. is this RAPID SOFT is a good brand? my Instructor told me that he want me to be more on control and after few months can go for back to HURICANE. Also He told that he like me to change my racket to carbon grip later. Coach.... I need you suggestion reagrading on the situation.

Hi,

Rapid Soft is a good brand. It has good control and quite good spin from the ratings.  Having not used it I can't really comment on it.

I think your coach is looking for you to gain some more control before speed.  This is probably a good idea.
