Equipment
I was using wakaba 1000 from 6 months and now I feel the need to change my racket. So i am buying donic carbotec 50 with, is it a good choice for me?
Hi Moosa,
I am not sure that the Carbotech 50 will be enough of a step up for you. You may be better to wait and get something a little better with better rubber on it.

Hey Alois,
Was thinking about getting a new bat / racket/ paddle and found a Stiga Pure Color Advance with yellow rubber's. What do you think, any good for a advanced beginner??? I am currently using a EastPoint ESP 3.0 and not really happy with it's performance.

Hi Steve,
If you are an advanced beginner I would think that one would be too slow. I think they're are ok as a first bat.

Alois,
Which one the Stigma, or my EastPoint? Have you ever heard of EastPoint before. Do you know anything about the EastPoint bat? I bought 4 of them so everyone has a bat, just in case we play with 4 player's. But they are cheap so I am not sure of there quality.

I haven't heard of EastPoint before Steve. I would recommend a well known table tennis brand, something like Stiga, Donic, Joola, or Butterfly for example - or of course a PingSkills Rook or PingSkills Touch. :)

Okay thanks Jeff,
Went to look at the Pingskills Took and it looks like you guys are out of stock. Do you happen to know when you will get more of them?

Hi Steve. Hopefully another couple of weeks. We will put them back on as soon as we get word they are here.

Thanks Alois,
I guess as I am waiting I'll look for something else that might be better than what I am using right now. Like I said before I am using the EastPoint EPS 3.0 and I bought it from Walmart for something like 6 bucks so it's nothing special. But it does have nice rubber's and a good feel to it. Only thing is now that I have been playing so much I feel that I am ready to experiment with something that might be a little better. So I'm willing to spend more money and try out a couple different bats.
Thanks again for taking the time to respond to my question's. You and Jeff rock!!!
