For some reason I only use my backhand. Its just a habit. I always try to practice with my forehand and it still doesn't feel right. I'm good with my backhand but the forehand would help sometimes too. I use the normal grip. No pen hold.

i often find in this situation that players stance is the key. In a match try to stand witur your left leg slightly more forward, closer to the table. This will get you into a more comfortable position to hit the forehand which will encourage you to play more forehands.
