Hello,

Im just lazy to move on the table. Is there any activities i can do to practise moving? Just 1 more thing to ask is about TT robots. Is it good practising with table tennis robots?

Hi Sajeer,

I think the best thing is to do some footwork training.  This will ingrain the movements that you need to make when playing.

Take a look at our lessons on the Basic Stance and the Footwork Basics.

Then download our free Training Drills and start to do plenty of footwork training.

Robots are OK if you don't have a training partner.  But it is much more beneficial to train with a real partner if you can find one.

Forehand and Backhand Topspin

The forehand and backhand topspin strokes are two of the most important strokes in table tennis. In lesson 6 you start playing these strokes first by getting someone to throw the ball to you. This makes it easier to get into the correct position and concentrate on the correct start and finish position, and the essential brushing contact. You can then progress to using this in a rally where your training partner learns to block the topspin back.
