Hello sir,

I have been facing problems in playing my topspin shots properly. I am able to hit the flatter shots ... everytime i try to hit a topspin shot i end up hitting into the net or outside the table. Whilst, when i hit a similar return flatter or without applying spin i easily succeed.

Hi Harry,

You may be trying to do too much with the topspin.  Keep the stroke simple and focus on the start and finish positions of the bat.

Watch the tutorial on the Forehand Topspin Against Block again.  It isn't a stroke that you will get to a 100% success rate straight away because of the finer contact required but with training it will become a very effective stroke for you.
