Improper forehand drive

Dear Sir,

after some gap in my practice i'm playing wrong forehand drive with lots of  sidespin on ball and many times ball is getting outside the table.One senior player told me that my racquet is coming from back, i'm playing it little slow and my bat eventually getting bend while touching the ball.for the last one week i'm having this problem and cant sort out.please help me regarding this.

Hi Sounak,

Try to hit the ball a little earlier in front of you and see if it helps.  Make sure at the point of contact the bat is facing straight towards where you want the ball to go.  Also keep the stroke simple.  The senior player is right, you are probably starting with your bat behind your back.

With your feet, stay closer to the table and quite square on to the table.
