Hello,

please can you advise me, I am 30,5 year old woman. In this year I started to play TT after about 7 years. Maybe next year I will play second highest national league and also in this year on the national tournament I ended between 32. But in all my last success I see just luck and also I have feeling like I am on my top and can´t improve (even if now I train only about 3 months after 7 years).

My question is. I would like to play much better than now (got on the national top), but am I not too old for improving? (I have time to train 5times a week + league matches). But I have so so much doubts, if it is not just wasting of time and effort in my age…

Thanks a lot, Martina

Hi Martina,

I think it is great that you are playing again and doing well.

I think the best thing is to give it a try.  It is impossible to tell how far you can go if you don't try.  I think it is better to have tried and failed than to not have tried at all...

There is no reason why you can't keep improving at your age.
