Is my bat is holding me back?

I've been using a fairly inexpensive (USD $25 - 30) Stiga Elite bat for a while now. I think it's pretty good for an early intermediate player, but my skills have improved quite a bit this year.

How do I know when I've advanced beyond my current bat and it's time to upgrade?

The videos are a fantastic help. Keep it up!

Hi Kevin,

When you feel you have too much control and not enough speed. When you are tyring to hit the ball hard but it is not helping you to do that. It is probably time to change.

It is not a clear cut answer but if you feel it is time it may well be.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
