Hi when I hit the ball it sometimes just hits the net and I am thinking if the ball came a little bit faster before starting to fall down it would make it. I am planning to buy a joo se hyuk blade , TSP Curl P-1r and a forehand rubber. How long should long pimple be, some people say 1.4 some say 1.7 some say 1.1 and some say other stuff. Also what forehand rubber would you recommend me?

Hi,

Without know ing your game it is hard to recommend rubbers.

In most cases the problems with the ball not landing on the table are not equipment but more technical.  You need to think about this rather than the rubber first.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!

Start by using a thin sponge under the rubber.  Perhaps 1mm sponge.
