Hi

Sir who is generally considered to be a legend in table tennis?? like Pele of Brazil in football, Fedrer in tennis, Sir Don Bradman in Cricket...although choic of people may vary but thr z always someone who z considered best by majority...

Hi Usman,

My favourite is Jan Ove Waldner.  I also like players like Wang Liqin and in the past Chuang Tse Tung for winning 3 World singles titles in a row.

I am sure our readers have others that they think are legends.

I do like Ma Lin, but he is not in my favourites to watch.

I think Ma Long and Zhang Jike are the best at the moment. We will see during the Olympics.

why have we not see a lot of wang liquin? did he have an in and out kind of a career Alois?

He had a big career.  He won 3 World Singles championships and a Olympic Games Doubles Gold Medal as well as several other titles over about a 15 year period which is a long time to be at the top of the sport in the world.  He is now about 33 years old which is getting on in years.
