Strokes
How can i lift a ball with chop on it when it is off the table every time i chop it the ball hits the net and also tell me about the certain angle of racket to try.
Hi Haseeb,
Take a look at our video on the Forehand Topspin Off Backspin. This willl show you the stroke you need to play. Each angle is slightly different because each ball that comes to you will have slightly different amounts of backspin on them. However, follow the principles in the video and you will learn how to deal with the backspin ball.
To push the ball look at the lesson on the Backhand Push which will show you the basics as well. The angle once again will change for each push depending on the amount of backspin on the ball.
The strawberry flick is the opposite of the banana flick and involves utilising the wrist to get the ball spinning with topspin and sidespin. Used in conjunction with the banana flick it can be very deceptive. The banana flick is a more reliable stroke and that's why you see more top players using it over the strawberry flick.
