How do I return moderate topspin with my long-pips backhand?

Hi Robert,

Take a look at these videos in our Long Pimples section of the site.  This will help you with your strokes against a moderate topspin.  IF there isn't as much spin you need to push a little more forward on the ball to get it over the net.

When you need to reach that really wide ball the regular shuffle step just won't get you there in time so you need to use the crossover step. This is essentially a running action to get you to the ball as fast as possible.
