Weight of the Bat

Hi Sir ,

Thanks for the info for my previous questions, I would like to know does the weight of the bat matter?  I mean lighter the bat more stability in the forehand or backhand shots or vice versa ? or the weight of the TT bat does not matter only the Racket or the rubber quality matters ? Just wanted your inputs on this.

Hi Madeti,

The weight is just a preference.

I would start with a lighter bat when learning to get the feel and allow your self to wield the racket easily.
