Strokes
Hi Alois and Jeff,
Can you explain me the Ma Lin awesome flick?
thanks ,
Nick
Hi Nick,
He really launches himself into the stroke. Using a lot of wrist he is able to generate great racket head speed.
The principles he uses are the same as we show you in the lesson on the Forehand Flick, just he has practiced it for many years.
The forehand counterhit or forehand drive is the foundation for more attacking strokes such as the forehand topspin or forehand loop. There are 3 critical factors:
If you concentrate on these 3 factors then your stroke will become extremely consistent. Once you can reliably hit 100 balls in a row then you are ready for more attacking strokes. If you can hit 1,000 balls on in a row then you know you've truly mastered the stroke.

Alois, how can i do it so effective because i am a shakehander?
Take a look at the lesson and then try to work on the basics first. Once you can do that then start to thin about hitting the ball faster. Remember Ma Lin didn’t get to be able to do this flick in a short amount of time.
