Hi Alois and Jeff,

I saw a video about ma lin s serve in detail and i noticed that when his racket contacts with the ball he immediately takes his racket up.why is he doing it?

Hi Nick,

He uses a flicking action.  This gets the bat travelling fast.  It also helps him with his recovery for he next ball.
