i observed ma long recently of his new serving stance.What is the use of this where he still does the same wrist action.why wont he just stick on his old serving stance?How does it benefit him?

It looks like a subtle change. It may help him to push off and get into his basic position a little faster because his back leg goes back a little further and has more power to push forward.
