hi coaches,
i observed that when ma long serve he always got the third attack then score, if not the third attack he always attack first? what serve and spin does he generate to always get the third ball
thank you,
judah
Hi Judah,
It is his variation of serve and his accurate placement that allows him to attack first.
His serves are fast but short which makes it difficult for his opponent to keep the return short and low. Therefore he gets the first attack.
There isn't one serve he is doing, but a variation that makes him successful.

If you use the sidespin or pendulum serve the contact point is important if tou contact on the top off the ball you get some topspin if you contact undernath the ball it will generate some underspin.
