Many of the table tennis videos on youtube are edited, so they only have actual play.

What is the best/easiest/cheapest program to use making these videos (cutting out the non-playing part)?

I made the video with an i-phone and are using a windows computer.

Hi Leif,

I will get some readers to share their thoughts on this.

I find them useful to watch if I am looking for something in particular about a player or the match.  I do also like to watch the full match to get the full impact of the feelings of the players.

Which do you prefer?

I tend to prefer the full match too; but I am making videos of my own games, for feedback on technique etc., and there I think the more compact videos are better.

Hi again.

I have now found out that it is pretty difficult to cut in a .mov file (I-phone) on a normal PC, without advanced or expensive programs.

So I'll just do it on a friends Mac with I-movie.

If you want to just cut,for Windows there is Windows MovieMaker and for Iphone there should be the Imovie software too
