I was wondering whether I should get the Mark V rubber. I know that this is the first recommended rubber here. I used to use the Donic Desto F3 with the Donic Epox Power allround blade, and then switched to Palio Macro Pro with the same blade. I think these are tensor rubbers, which Mark V is not. I really want to continue working on my technique (I have got fairly good loops and pushes on both ends) though I am not comfortable with advanced techniques like the flip. Do you recommend that I go back to the Mark V rubber to work on the basics? Or perhaps the Yasaka Pryde (which is tensor)?
Hi Jagdish,
If you find that the speed of your current rubbers is too fast to control and learn the strokes then I would go back to Mark V. Keep your other rubbers and then when you feel comfortable with the Mark V you can put the other rubbers back on again.
I would first though try to keep working on the technique with your current rubbers.

Thanks Alois, but is it possible to glue the same rubber back again after I have it removed? Is that common practice?
