What does medium pips do to the ball?

Hi Jasper,
It gives some reversal of the spin but it is easier to hit with than long pimples.

Sounds like half short pimples and half long pimples

According to what I found,medium pips have more reversal than shortpips but not so much like longpips,but can hit better than longpips but worse than shortpips.
Basically I would say it gives dead balls. I played with it when I was switching rubbers from inverted to longpips,and I would say it is mostly the only real use for medium pips.
