Miu Hirano serve

Hi Pingskills! I'm left handed and practically serve with backhand almost all the time. I've watched the  Asian Championship match between Miu Hirano and Ding Ning and thought that Miu Hirano's serve was quite impressive and she could win quite a number of points just on her serve (Ding Ning had difficulty returning her serves). May I know how to execute Miu Hirano's serve? It can also act as good serve variations. Instead of having all my serves on my backhand.

Hi Benzene,

Miu Hirano has good effect with her serves.

We have a video on the Punch Serve which is basically what she is doing.  Give it a try and see if you can get a feel for the serve.
