I'm looking for a blade-rubber combo that has the most bounce. Do you know what I mean? My friends don't. I want a blade-rubber combo that, when you drop a ball from a set heght, it bounces higher than on any other blade-rubber combo.
I tried a fast combo(Yasaki Carbon Max 3d with Palio Macro Era rubber) but it hits dead- less bounce than my $21 silver Dragon.
What do I look for? Control? stiffness? Hardness? Why is there no rating for bounce?
What would you recommend?
Thank you.
Hi Robert,
The bounce will be determined by speed.
Look for a bat with the greatest speed if bounce is what you are looking for.
The thickness of a table tennis table is the most important aspect of a table to ensure you get a true consistent bounce. Other things to consider are the net, portability, and storage space.

I have since learned that a tacky rubber will slow the ball. As opposed to scrapping a tacky rubber, it is recommended to rub Windex on the rubber to help dissolve the laminate or veneer.
