Serving

Hey there,

I have been attemting to execute a no spin, short, low serve with a very powerful movement to disguise it. I always end up doing a very spinny half-long serve that goes off the table. How can I stop this?

THANKS

Ollie

Hi Oliver,

For the no spin serve try hitting the ball closer to the handle of your bat where it isn't moving as fast.

You need a fairly flat contact to get the no spin on the ball.

The no spin serve is a skill that you need to practice a lot.  It needs to have a similar action as a heavy spin serve otherwise it is ineffective.

We haven't got to this one as yet.   We are working on subtitles at this stage but as you can imagine with over 400 videos this will take time.
