Serving
Hi,
I am quite an advanced ping pong player and have won quite a few tournaments. But when I play I often lose points because of my dodgy, not very good, serve. I really want to have one serve that I can use and practice a lot to make really good?
I would prefer a spin serve over power.
Thanks,
Shaun
Hi Shaun,
A serve is an important part of the game and can win you a lot of points. Probably the easiest serve is the Pendulum serve to start with.
We have a whole section on serving because we think it is important. Most of the lessons are Premium but we think it is a worthwhile investment as it is such a critical part.
You can also search through previous Ask the Coach questions for Pendulum serve and you will get a lot of information from there.
