Hi Alois/gents,

I was reading an article on a different  sport..(shame on me!) and it touched on the benefits of hypnotherapy for focus, etc…two questions..

(a) any experience of seeing improvements in players, and

(b) your thoughts on what the subliminal message should be?….’ball concentration’ I imagine would be near the top of a list…

cheers, Wayne

Hi Wayne,

I think all of this type of thinking can help.  It is mainly about being able to remain focused on the task in front of you and keeping your mind in the moment rather than thinking ahead or behind.

I have seen great improvements in players when they are able to be single focused and be able to stay in the moment, however they are achieving this.

The ball is the thing that can keep us there as it is what our focus needs to be on and what we need react to all of the time to play well.
