Serving
Hi alois and jeff,
Firstly happy new year to you both.....
i have recently learn't the pendulum serve, about 2 weeks back .
sometimes I put up a perfect pendulum serve which bounces almost 4 times on the table following a curved path but some times I just don't manage to generate any spin on it . I even try to snap my wrist on contact but the ball still goes straight .
how can I consistently pull of a great pendulum serve?
thanks in advance.
Hi Soham,
It is great that you are starting to get the spin on the ball. Now to get it more consistent, it is just a matter of repetition. This can be a frustrating part of your development of the serve but it is something that everyone goes through.
When you do get a good contact, try to remember the feelings of the contact and the swing. The more often you get the feeling of it the better you will get at doing it again.
A few more months and it will get more consistent. Just keep going you are on the right track.

Thanks heaps for the quick response
By the way are we supposed to keep the hand relaxed or tensed For quick wrist movement?
Keep you hand relaxed. This allows your wrist to move through freely and through it full range of movement.
