Training
Hi Alois I play well on matches but when it comes to doing drills I perform a lot worse could you explain this?
Thanks,
Tam
Hi Tam,
Perhaps you are a good competition and can play a lot of unconventional shots well. I think it is good to also be able to play conventional shots so that you can drill and become more consistent.
It's important that you assess your opponent's skill level and your own skill level. Using this information you can then decide how much risk you need to put into your game. If your opponent is a lot more consistent than you, you may need to go for a bit more on each of your shots to try and force an error.
