PingSkills is running a competition to pick the winner of the upcoming World Individual Championships in Yokohama.  The Championships commence on 28th April and conclude on 5th May.  The 1st Round of Mens and Womens singles start on 30th April.  No entries will be accepted after 30th April.  This will be at the conclusion of the 2nd round.  But remember the first correct entry wins.

What do you need to pick?

You need to pick the Winner and Runners Up of both the Men's and Womens Singles and the results in the finals.  i.e. just the game score 4 - 0, 4 - 1 etc...  If no correct entry is found PingSkills will determine the closest entry based on Winning Players Names, then Runner Up Players Names and then on the result in the final.  Priority will be given to the Mens singles if there are 2 entries that are even after this.

Entry Format

Put in your entry in this format;
Mens singles winner, Mens singles Runner up, Mens singles final result, Womens Singles winner, Womens singles Runner Up, Womens singles final result.
e.g. Jeff Plumb, Alois Rosario, 4 - 3, Gao Jun, Jasna Reed, 4 - 2
If 2 entries are identical the first entrant will be the winner.

How do you enter?

Just add a comment below .  As a tip check the other entries first to make sure that someone else hasn't put in the same entry as you have.

Winners Prize

The winner can choose between:
One of PingSkills DVDs or if you are in Melbourne or can get to Melbourne, you can choose a free 1 hour coaching session with Alois.

I thought everyone knew Boll, Schlager and Kreanga aren't competing in the Worlds.....

Here's the article:  http://www.ittf.com/_front_page/ittf_full_story1.asp?ID=17902&Competition_ID=1792&

So I predict the final results will be dominated by the Chinese. It's sad my favorite players won't compete.

Wang Hao beats Wang Liqin 4 - 0 and Zhang Yining beats Guo Yue 4 - 2. And the real winner is JM who predicted Wang Hao would beat Wang Liqin 4 - 2 and Zhang Yining would beat Guo Yue 4 - 3. Congratulations JM!
