Strategy
Can you tell me how to play against player who just push the ball every time, and not just push they even get the game slower and slower, and when i realize i am just defending because he has token the attack my push.
Hi Luis,
You should try to make the first attack. It gets more difficult the longer you leave it in the rally. See if you can set up the attack with your serve or return of serve.
You should also tye to improve your Forehand Topspin Off Backspin. Then as soon as your opponent gives you a long push, you should make the topspin attack. This is a vital stroke to be able to lift your level.
Spin, speed and placement are the 3 things you need to focus on when coming up with your tactics against each of your opponents. Start with the serve and your third ball attack. Figure out what type of serve your opponent finds most difficult. Find out where is the best place to direct your first attack. Is your opponent better at blocking with their backhand or forehand? Does your opponent prefer a faster topspin or a slow spinny topspin? Do the same for your returns.
