Hello Jeff and Alois,

First of all, I love your videos, they have improved my play by a significant amount. I've played since I was younger but starting to become more serious. Im still learning the proper technique but Im pretty good compared to most of my friends. But I watch your videos, and things flow so smooth. When I play with them, the games are kind of rough and sloppy. Their moves can be hard to read because sometimes they happen on accident. What can I do to make these games more enjoyable? Sorry if Its hard to answer. But another thing I would like to ask is when someone hits a short low hit over the net that has little area to get under the ball, what hit would be best for that? Thanks for the help, sorry if they are unclear or hard to answer.

Hi Dustin,

I know what you mean.  Sometimes hitting agaisnt lower level players that don't hit the ball cleanly is difficult.  Keep working on good technique and soon you will find you will overcome these different awkward styles.  Try to play against them as much as possible because it is good practice for you.

For a short ball, use the push stroke first.  This will allow you to get under the ball easily.

I hope this helps.
