Footwork
Hi Alois, I'm left handed and I'm having trouble with hitting wide shots is there a way I could improve this?
Hi Tam,
Firstly it is about moving well into position. So if they are playing the ball wide, you need to remain balanced and move your feet across so that you get closer to the ball. Always try to hit a ball from the same position in relation to your body. If you can do this then it doesn’t matter where the ball is coming you can play an effective stroke.
Of course this is very difficult to do but that is what sets the best players apart.
Try to practice your footwork movements as much as you can.
