Strokes
hi
Once my coach said that I can do a spinless loop or a spinless top shot after a series of spin full shots in order to force your opponent to return high
I wanted to know how can I do this and how can I realize the difference between these two shots in order not to give my opponent an attack opportunity
thanks
your fan, Ali
Hi Ali,
The No spin topspin shot is a difficult one to master. You get a flatter contact on the ball by opening the angle of your bat slightly. Often hitting the ball on the lower half of your racket will help as well,
When you need to reach that really wide ball the regular shuffle step just won't get you there in time so you need to use the crossover step. This is essentially a running action to get you to the ball as fast as possible.

but what makes the ball go high?
Usually it is because the ball has gone to them slower so they reach out in front of them and hit the ball up.
